REDWOOD CITY NURSERY is one of the oldest businesses in Redwood City according to the Chamber of Commerce. It was purchased from the Gertstein family by Paul Althouse in 1949. Paul's nephew, Mark Brown took over ownership in 1988. We've built our reputation committed to the goal of providing the highest quality, variety and service possible.
REDWOOD CITY NURSERY is a member of Master Nursery Garden Centers which is a buying co-op. This gives us many private label products not found in other nurseries ond chain stores and buying power.
Our core of full-time employees all have at least 11 years of nursery experience (most with 20+ years). We pride ourselves on service and giving the best possible advice, WE ARE PLANT PEOPLE!
